Cylindrical Body

Conical Hopper
The conical hopper forms the lower section of the silo; it serves to guide the flow of grain and facilitate its natural discharge from within the silo. It is typically positioned at an angle of 30 to 45 degrees relative to the cylindrical body.

Ventilation Equipment
Ventilation equipment is a critical component of the silo, typically comprising ventilation vents, fans, and air ducts. Its primary function is to maintain appropriate temperature and humidity levels within the silo, thereby preventing the grain from becoming damp.

 

Temperature Monitoring Equipment
Temperature monitoring equipment includes thermometers and automated alarm systems. These devices continuously monitor the grain's temperature in real-time from within the silo, enabling the prompt identification and elimination of potential safety hazards while safeguarding the quality of the stored grain.
