Routine maintenance checks for a grain processing line should be conducted daily before startup. A visual inspection of critical components-such as conveyor belts, crushers, screening machines, fans, and motors-should be performed to ensure there is no abnormal wear, looseness, or obstruction by foreign objects. Moving parts-including chains, bearings, and gears-should be regularly lubricated with oil or grease, in accordance with the equipment manual, to minimize friction and wear, thereby extending the service life of the machinery. When inspecting the electrical system, verify that wires, switches, and control panels are free of damage or poor connections to ensure electrical safety and stability during operation. During maintenance, particular attention should be paid to the tension of the conveyor belts; ensure the tension is appropriate-neither too tight (which causes excessive wear) nor too loose (which leads to slippage)-to guarantee the smooth operation of the processing line.

 

Routine maintenance also encompasses cleaning, upkeep, and record-keeping. Upon completion of processing, equipment surfaces-as well as the interiors of hoppers and pipelines-should be promptly cleared of residual grain and dust to prevent moisture accumulation, mold growth, or pest infestation. Consumable parts prone to wear-such as screens, seals, and blades-should be inspected and replaced periodically to prevent any adverse impact on processing efficiency and product quality. Concurrently, detailed daily maintenance logs should be established to document inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements; this facilitates the tracking of equipment status and the scheduling of periodic repairs. By strictly adhering to these routine maintenance protocols, operators can not only enhance the operational stability of the processing line but also effectively extend the service life of the equipment, thereby safeguarding both grain processing quality and production safety.
