Process Overview
Cleaning: Raw coix seeds undergo multi-stage impurity removal via conveyors, vibrating screens, gravity stone removal, and magnetic separation. The process employs two cleaning stages, two stone removal stages, and two magnetic separation stages, supplemented by air separation, to thoroughly remove stones, metal, dust, and various impurities. This ensures clean raw material while reducing energy consumption and operational costs.
Dehulling: The raw material is first graded, then fed into a specially designed, in-house developed coix seed dehulling machine. Precise grading ensures thorough separation of the hull from the kernel, with stable operation, low breakage rates, and high whole-kernel yields.
Polishing: Dehulled coix seeds are sent to in-house developed polishing and buffing equipment according to grade. Fine grinding and polishing enhance the surface smoothness and visual quality of the coix seeds.
Color Sorting: Utilizing intelligent sorting based on color differences, the process removes discolored and defective grains to ensure the purity and uniformity of the finished product.
Grading and Packaging: Grains are finely graded by size to ensure uniform specifications and consistent appearance, thereby increasing the product's value. Finally, the product is automatically packaged and stored.
